Established over 20 years!
Marsh Tackle was started in 1985 by Roy Hawes - already a successful local businessman. His hobby was fishing but as there was no local angling shop in the area he decided to open his own shop in the back of his existing business.
By 1990 this had become so popular that we moved to larger premises on the west side of High Wycombe. And in Christmas 2005 we moved again to 11 Ford Street, Wycombe Marsh, where we still are today. For opening times and address details, just go to Contact Us

Please feel free to call in and browse, try out the goods or just chat to the staff. (You know what they say – talking about fishing is almost as good as actually fishing!) There’s a wealth of experience and knowledge available in the shop and we can help you find whatever you need to give you the best results.
Roy can often be found working in the shop himself and has vast knowledge on all aspects of angling. The shop manager is Mike Ludgate – he’s worked for Marsh Tackle since the business first started. As well as being a keen fisherman, Mike is also a firearms expert, and it was through him that we opened our shooting section in 1996.
